Parking at Venetian

We're finally going to Vegas, baby... and are staying at the Venetian. I can't find anything on their website about parking. Do they only offer valet parking, and if so, what's the cost? Thanks for your help.

Like all the hotels there is also free general self-parking. I can't tell you about how easy or difficult access is to the hotel part from there.

Hi norbie! I just returned from the Venetian a couple days ago. Parking is in the back. You'll avoid the mess of the Strip each time you go in and out if you use the back street. (You can enter the parking garage from the Strip--we did it only once that way as traffic was always so slow.)

Once you park yourself, you take the garage elevators to a short (100-ft) walkway which connects to the hotel. Then it's so great because you do not have to go through the hotel casino to the guest elevators. Just go through the doors and walk another 50 feet or so, and there's the bank of elevators (which, by the way, are secured so you have to use your room key to even get in the area).

Enjoy the Venetian. It's terrific!

Happy travels!

Parking at the Venetian, like most of the large casinos on the Strip, is plentiful and easy. The only thing you may find difficult is the traffic on the strip. Even a short drive can take quite a while. If you do some research, you can probably find the name of the road that runs behind the Venetian, which allows you to avoid the strip and go straight into their garage.

Have fun!

Use the valet, that is what it is for! It is free, just tip the guy or girl a buck or two. No hassel and they are usually quick. DO DRIVE ON THE STRIP, it is not that bad and it gives a nice overview of the whole Vegas theme. Enjoy the most incredible city in the world.
