Park Meadows, Colorado restaurants

Just wondering if anyone has been to any of the new restaurants in Park Meadows Mall? They are Grazio, Brio, Fish City Grill, La Sandia & White Chocolate Grill. Any thoughts?

Hi! I have tried Brio, White Chocolate Grill and The Counter. Brio was quite good (we went for lunch) and the service was great. There was quite a variety and while there was a lot of pasta, there were also fish, chicken, etc., that weren't traditional Italian. The salads were also delicious.

White Chocolate Grill was good as well (we had lunch). Dinner would be a bit pricy. We liked sitting on their patio. Not a huge menu but everything our group had was fresh and good. The rotisserie turkey, chicken, etc., was yummy. They pride themselves on service and it shows. The atmosphere was also very nice.

The Counter was my least favorite. This is the make-your-own burger place. The service was horrendous and it was expensive - over $30 for burgers and fries for two. Everything is separate and the sides don't come with a burger. The food wasn't bad but the service and prices were a definite turn off.

We are trying La Sandia this weekend for a birthday and I will report back. We are expecting good things as we love Tamayo in Denver, part of the same restaurant group.

It is so nice to have some new places to go. I look forward to what others have to say!

I've been to Brio several times and on each occasion the food and service were very good. I haven't tried their Italian entrees, but I've ordered the salmon on two visits and it was cooked perfectly.

I ate at La Sandia (I also love Tamayo) today for lunch and was very pleased. The restaurant has a very open feel and we were lucky to get a window seat with a great view of the mountains. The shredded beef enchiladas, carne asada and chicken tamales were all delicious.

Rockie thank you for your review of The Counter. I've walked by it several times and for a burger place I think it looks ridiculous. I don't get the large wine display behind the counter. I looked at a menu and have no interest in paying what they were asking for a burger.

Some kind of event is happening tonight in the parking lot next to the new restaurant area. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but I did see that there would be food and drink tastings. I think between 3 pm and 6 pm? Maybe you can sample a few items and it will make your decision easier.

Saturday was the grand opening of that area -- 4-9pm. It was fund with a lot of food sample but hard to judge future quality but it is a pretty setup.

Well, we ended up going to La Dolce Vita in Castle Pines at the request of one of the birthday teens. Nice atmosphere, even had a live singer. Good service, redid DS's meal when it looked like it had nuts on it.(nut allergy. Will save Brio for the next birthday. Maybe can check out the area over the holidays.

We had a wonderful birthday at La Sandia this weekend. I would highly recommend it. I loved the atmosphere inside. Great margaritas and other drinks. All of our entrees were delicious. We had two of the pork dishes, steak fajitas and fish tacos. Service was good. For my husband's birthday they let him pick any dessert off the menu and they didn't sing (which he was happy about!). As we were leaving, we walked upstairs to the rooftop lounge - wonderful space! They had a fire pit going and tons of couches and chairs, as well as tables. I can see how it would be a great view during the day. It was a wonderful dinner.
