Panhandle area with elderly?

I'd like to take my elderly mother and disabled brother to the beach this summer. Because they live in South GA, the panhandle would be the closest/ shortest ride for them. Can someone reccomend a quiet spot possibly a place with home to rent????

BB, why don't you wash your mouth with soap? It's so low to say something like you just did!

Faina, I could wash my mouth out with soap, but I don't see how doing do would reduce my deliciously wicked sense of humor.

How wonderful! I have posted this website before but because it has a lot of good accomodations all along the panhandle, let me give it to you. http://vrbo.com/vrbo/flpanhandle.htm#Pensacola+Beach We are staying this year in Navarre. Have not been there as yet but supposed to have a top notch beach that I think anyone would enjoy walking or just sitting and looking at.

Navarre Beach is the BEST kept secret in the world. If you're looking for beauty and serenity, that's the place. By the way, Jaws was shot there.
