Has any one stayed at the Doral Resort?? How
is PS in mid-September?

The Doral is lovely. We stayed last spring and had a beautiful room with a view of the mountains. The Spas were a little pricey, but why quibble when on vacation. The food was outstanding.

As to the weather in September, it can still be very warm, but not as brutal as August.

Richard, Was your post directed to the doral or Palm Springs or both?

september will still be quite warm. if you are planning on doing any golfing or hiking, get up very early and go then. afternoons around a pool in palm springs is heaven. most outdoor restaurants have "misters" going to keep you cool while you eat. not great for the hair or make up but appreciated mid afternoon.
