I also agree with Chicos. I have bought the Travelers collection and it looks dressy and great and you can roll it up in a ball and it looks great when you put it on. I have a black ensemble that looks very chic. Have a great time!

I took two slinky, polyester dresses from Target ($19.99 each) with me to France last year and wore them daytime and evening. They were perfect for travel because they took up no space in the suitcase whatsoever and looked great with low heels or high heels. I know you are only going for a short time so wash and dry probably isn't an issue but that was the other factor for me. Don't count out Target for basic travel clothes.
I agree with others that if you can't fit it all into your backpack (what is this? A test of some sort?) TAKE THE CAB!
