Will be in Vegas for few days in the mid August.
Is it cold inside of the restaurants and casinos? It’s probably will be 100 outside, but I wanted to know if I need jacket for indoors.

It will probably be hotter than 100 in mid August.

You do not need a jacket at all. The casinos are usually very comfortable and at night it will still be 85-90 degrees outside.

I just got back from Las Vegas. Before I left I wondered if I'd need a sweater for inside activites--you know how cold air conditioned places can get sometimes. (I knew I wouldn't need one outdoors.) I toted my sweater around the first day as I was going in and out of casinos on the strip, but never carried it for the rest of the week after that and was only cold in Rita Rudner's show.

My DW always take a light sweater for indoor purposes.

I am busy sweating over cards and appreciate the significant temperature reduction indoors.

Everyone feels cold or hot differently so this is hard to answer. Personally I've never felt "cold" in any of the casinos but occasionally have felt a little chilly in various restaurants. It is hard to predict tho. I know this is not a good answer.

It's probably easier to tote around a pashmina than a sweater. I always bring one.

I'd throw in a light wrap that you can stuff in whatever bag you're carrying around. That way, you've got it if you need it, can use it as a blanket to sit on if you want it, and don't have to worry about forgetting to pick it up if you're not using it.

I will def be bringing a light pashmina to Vegas or a little cropped sweater to throw in my bag in case I'm cold. I bring a cardigan to work every day even in the heat, it's freezing in here! I can't stand the dramatic difference in temp changes in the summer.

I always bring a light cardigan with me for casinos and tour buses. Or maybe tank top for outside, big shirt over it for inside.

A sweater may take the make-up off

When I was there in June I brought a light jacket to shows etc. Then again my arms are always cold!! Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
