pa restaurant for celebration dinner

Having a celebration for my husband who just got promoted. Looking for a restaurant in the PA suburbs of Philadelphia with separate area or room for ~30 - 40 adults. Want good food, casual ambience, open bar available. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wow, you've got them scattered all over. It might really be easier for everybody if you had it in Center City Philadelphia-- that way, it will be more or less central for everybody.

King of Prussia is in the middle of your scattered group. Look into some restaurants there---Maggiano's, Bahama Breeze, etc. all have rooms for private parties.

Schmerl, I've been to Maggiano's before (in Tampa) and loved it! Unfortunatley, they were booked for the day we needed. We ended up going to an Irish pub, Kildare's, in Media. It was great! And we could be as noisy as we wanted. (But, now I'm in the mood for Maggiano's and we don't have one near us!) Thanks to all for the help!

You might look into Longwood Gardens. They do groups -- I think they have some kind of BBQ special. Would be an interesting setting, instead of just an ordinary restaurant.
