Overnight in Berkshires w/ 2 small kids

My husband and I are taking our 2 small boys for a Saturday/Sunday in the Berkshires. Are there any kid-friendly activities that you suggest?? Any restaurant and hotel that worked for you with small kids? Any suggestions would be great. We will be going in August.

Thanks

The Cranwell in lenox is a good) place to take kids. They have an indoor pool (I know in august you might prefer outdoor, not sure if there might be an outdoor one too). It seems to be a kid friendly place though the main restaurant can get fancy at night. I'd look at their website: www.cranwell.com

Would agree with Cranwell. The Berkshire Museum isn't too far from there. Could picnic in the Pittsfield State Forest or atop Mount Greylock. Check Jiminy Peak or Bousquet for what summer activities they are offering.

There is a scenic railroad that has a stop in Lenox. Look for hiking and water activities in the area too.

Mass MoCA, in North Adams, has a children's activity room, and trees that grow upside down (among other cool things to see).
