NYC: Neue Galerie

Can anyone comment on the Brucke exhibit at Neue Galerie? I will be in town Sunday and wanted to go but I am also considering the Francis Bacon exhibit at the Met. Thanks.

Well, if you go to the Neue Galerie you can enjoy a lovely meal/snack at the Austrian cafe inside! Other then that, which artist do you want to see?

Did you check for reviews in the NY times or other newspapers?

The 2 museums are a short walk from each other, maybe 5 mins.. You can easily do both. The Met is overwhelming but if you're only going to one exhibit you should be fine.

If you go to the Neue Museum, definitely stop into Cafe Sabarsky for a fabulous dessert and Viennese coffee. The coffee here is some of the best I have ever tasted.
