OUT WEST-EZ PASS ?

Family going out west soon; utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming - will we need our ez pass? Will it work out west?

No; there are virtually no toll roads in the west anyway.

You can go to the website of the EZ pass that you own and see what states its valid in.

The states you mention have no toll highways.

Did you look at the EzPass site? It clearly lists where it is accepted:

There is a HOV lane in I15 between Provo and downtown SLC. If you have the right transponder, and drive on it solo it becomes a toll lane.
