Orlando May 1, Suggestions Please

What is Florida weather like first week in May?

My friend and I want to stay in budget accomodations close to Disney World. Any recommendations?

How do I find out when E nights are planned at the Magic Kingdom?

Thanks

My wife and I are going down from 5-10 to 5-18 and she ahs done her research, plus with me specializing in Dsiney vacations, the temps will be in the mid to high 80's.

Budget accomodations? All Stars..family and children oriented. If you sdo not want in that then you should consider staying off site on International Drive or Maingate. Let me know if I can help you out there.

Enights usually are not released until a few weeks before.

Feel free to join my new Yahoo Club for thos eplanning trips to Disney World. It is a place to share advice and tips and hints and I will monitor the club to make sure you get any answers you may need. You may join at http://clubs.yahoo.com/disneyworldvacationplanning

Go to Deb Wills unofficial guide page at http://www.wdwig.com , it is a fantastic resource and she posts E-ticket nights as soon as WDW has released the schedule, also has the early opening rotation schedule. LOTS of trip reports from lots of contributors! DEFINITELY stay at All-Star if you will be spending most of your time at WDW, want to save money, and also want to save time & aggravation by using WDW transport. When you call for reservations ask if any special rates are being offered, discounts for AAA or American Express, etc. We got All-Star for rate of $62 per night last August (that was 4 people & was total room charge)

Disney advertises E nights for on-property resort guests only. I have heard some people have been able to buy E night tickets at the Magic Kingdom late in the afternoon and they are not diligent in checking for resort ID's. I would second the earlier replies and consider the All Star Resorts.

Can someone explain to me what Enights are?

Also, is it possible to get into any of the parks after 4 or 5 pm for a discount rate?

Thanks!
