Actually there are a couple of good Japanese restaurants in Orlando, but not sure if they are steakhouse. YOu might try a Google search of restaurants in the orlando area, or a yellow pages search.

We had a wonderful meal at a Japanese restaurant in Orlando a couple of years ago, great sushi and rolls.

There is also a Japanese restaurant in Disney at Epcot in the International area behind the lake.

Hope this helps a bit.

There is a very good japanese rest. in Church Street Station Shopping center. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. It is medium price and very casual. It does get pretty busy. We were there about a year ago and loooved their sushi and teriyaki steak. Enjoy.

We had dinner at the Kobe Steakhouse here in the Tampa area (Clearwater) last night. We'd been in Orlando this last weekend for an FX Toy show and had eaten at the Benihana in the Hilton in downtown Disney where we've eaten many times before. All four of us were in agreement last night that Kobe Steakhouse was so much better, everything, the soup, salad, rice, noodles and main dishes have much more flavor than Benihanas which is good but much more bland. We were very happy with Kobes, besides the fact that if it's your birthday, your dinner is free. (don't know if the same offer applies in orlando).

We ate at Kobe in Orlando 2 years ago and loved it! It was our first time at a Japanese rest.; our kids had an in-depth study of Japan at school, so I thought it was the perfect time to try it. Everyone was a bit nervous at first, but that didn't last long. Everything was delicious and fun to watch it prepared right in front of us - lots of "special" effects!

There are some coupons in many of the Orlando area free guides - might save a few $$. We enjoyed Kobe very much and my kids still talk about it and ask when we can go back!

There is one in the World Center Marriott called Mikado Japanese Steakhouse. I didn't eat there, but it looked like a nice place. Maybe someone else here has been there and can comment.

Have to agree with the Kobe recommendation, it is one of our favorite places. There are several locations, one on kirkman road across from Universal Studios and one in Lake Buena Vista near disney. Kobe is much better than the japanese restaurant at epcot.
