Orlando Hotel - January

Trying to decide between 3 hotels - no children and don't need a kitchen, but will be in Orlando 4 nights and want a clean, comfortable room. My choices: Homewood Suites Universal, Crown Plaza Universal, and Marriott Grand Vista. I don't want any sales pitches for condos, just a comfortable room under $200. Also, if not these, can anyone suggest something better? Will be visiting Disney and Universal. Thanks for the help.

A few years back DH and I stayed at the Wyndam Resort on International Drive. Very convenient to all parks, has on-site spa.

While you visit Universal see if you can swing a room at one of their on site hotels. The Royal Pacific is usually the lowest in price. If you have AAA you can get a discounted room rate. If you stay on site, you get all day express access just by showing your room key.

My daughter and son-in-law stayed at the Grand Vista and said it was wonderful.

Haven't the marriotts gone totally-non-smoking? That would be enough for me to swing towards Marriot.
