I'm not aware of any holidays during that time. That's actually a very nice time to visit Florida.

It is a good time to visit Florida....hte parks wont be as busy then. If you pick up a copy of the unofficial guide it list each date in the calender year and what parks to avoind and which to hit. We had very good luck with their picks as well as really good guides on how to avoid the lines etc. def. worth the investment.
Check out www.disboards.com for all things disney. Another good site is www.mousesavers.com
have fun!

Rosh Hashanah is observed on October 4th and Columbus Day is the following Monday. You could very well run into some traffic as Disney.

Believe it or not, the public school schedule here has the schools opening next Thursday. So I would imagine that would be a good day to be at Disney. Maybe the lines would be a tad shorter.
