Thanks for the suggestion. Are you familiar with any hotels there?

dcslb, what are you looking for in a hotel? Price, amenities? Cocoa Beach has a wide variety.

Cocoa Beach is approximately 60-65 miles from Orlando and 1-1½ hours of driving time. Take State Road 528 (AKA The Beachline) East to the coast and then a little bit south to A1A & SR 520.

The Best Western has oceanfront units and some suites; I don't remember if the suites are oceanfront or oceanview. It is very close to the Cocoa Beach Pier and restaurants, shopping, etc.

The Doubletree and Resort on Cocoa Beach are farther away from the Pier, still plenty of dining options. The Doubletree has "junior suites" and the Resort on Cocoa Beach is a time share that rents out units.

The Holiday Inn has oceanfront suites. If you have young children, it has a pirate-themed pool for kids.
