I think you would enjoy Sweetwaters then- its at Valley River Inn - there is a nice deck on the water- Northbank setting is nice- but food not that great.
you might want to make a reservation since its the weekend- the ones I mentioned are the only river front restaurants.
Another place I like is the Excelsior - close to the U of O on 13th- nice outdoor courtyard - nice wine list.
MMS is right- been wearing fleece until last weekend but it finally warmed up but cools off at night.
Let me know - if you want different, we have a fun Moroccan restaurant - I can't remember the name of the Moroccan restaurant but if interested let me know and I will find it.
Hope you enjoy our area!

My favorite recommendation for the coast - north of Florence but not far from Yachats is Heceta Head State Park- beautiful beach, trail up to the lighthouse - and if you want to go farther, there is a trail behind the lighthouse that takes you down to a beach only accessible by hiking in ( trail map posted close to the lighthouse)
Lunch in Florence- fav place is Travellers Cove- they have decent food AND they have a deck overlooking the river - great place on a nice day .
