Oregon Fruit loop
Has anyone does this route on way to/from Mt. Hood? There are 36 suggested stops which would take more than a day, any suggestions on the best ones and/or places to dine would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Route 35 from Hood River gives spectacular views of Mt. Hood on a clear day.
The drive from Hood River to Timberline Lodge takes about an hour. Have lunch there.
We go to Hood River two or three times a year and each time we drive the "Fruit Loop," but we haven't found 36 places to stop--perhaps because we aren't shoppers.

The Fruit Loop means different things to different people. It got its name from all the orchards/farms in the Hood River area, and the loop that makes the rounds from many of those places. But a lot of people use it to mean doing a much larger loop including the Gorge, Hood River, and Mt. Hood.
Are you wanting to stop at all the farm stands or are you wanting to see the general area?

This is the Fruit Loop where the OP found a map with 36 suggested stops.
