Bunchee, please don't type in all caps. It's hard to read and is considered rude on the internet. Thanks!

Charleston - The Governor's House Inn - run by the same family that runs Two Meeting Street which is highly regarded. Very reasonable and very central. Quite beautiful.

Savannah - Zeigler House
We ADORE this place. On the "prettiest street in Savannah" - West Jones - in the historic district. Walking distance to everything. You will have a whole little apartment for the price of just a room anywhere else in Savannah, and it is very well priced.

Re Beaufort: You really can't lose when choosing among the Rhett, the Cuthbert, and the Beaufort Inn. The Rhett and the Cuthbert have both recently been ranked in top ten in the US lists. They are true B&B's. The Beaufort Inn is truly an "Inn" or small hotel. It serves B,L, and D. Elegant and very nice bar. For true B&B experience: Rhett or the Cuthert. For a fine, full service, boutique hotel: The Beaufort Inn.

Bunchee-
The Elliott House is TERRIFIC! It is a historic inn with an outdoor Jacuzzi under a grape arbor- serves wine and cheese in the pm on the patio near the jacuzzi and have free bikes to allow you to ride thru the Battery Area in Charleston...

We have stayed there for years as the location is PRIME- one block from the slave market where tons of shops and restaurants are located and one block from King St where all the antique shops and neat little quaint Charleston shops are located....

In my opinion, has much more charm (being a historic inn) than Planters Inn ( which we have also stayed at)...

Rooms in Elliott House are furnished with Laura Ashley/Schumacher prints, with 4 poster beds and armoires...
Yes, the rooms are small and only have queen beds but it is super charming.
They also deliver Continental Bkfst on a silver serving set and you get bkfst in bed--very romantic.

Elliott House Inn also works with the restaurant next door in case you want dinner delivered to your room.

YOU WILL LOVE IT!~!

Savannah

The President's Quarters

The Ronald Regan Room, while across the street in it's own building is brilliant!

Tea hour and desserts at nice are fantastic.

Enjoy.
