One night (actually 2) in Seattle
We will be staying one night in seattle at the end of September. We would like to stay downtown and would love some suggestions for hotels around the $200 and under range....any help would be appreciated....also we will be staying our last night in the area by the airport (we have a 6 AM flight) any suggestions in that area as well?

We stayed at the Inn at Harbor Steps-its a b&B that parts of the foursistersinns.com chain, but it felt more like a hotel. Our room was under $200. We loved the location-2 blocks from Pikes Place Market and across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. the room was large, they have great work out facilities, a pool, afternoon wine and breakfast included in the rate.

I recently researched downtown Seattle hotels for friends coming to stay. Most every one of them is more than $200 unless you bid on Priceline.
Under $200 downtown are only the motels like: La Quinta, 6th Ave Inn, 8th Ave Inn, Days Inn, Best Western Loyal Inn.
On Queen Anne you could try the Mediterranean.

That would be a great place to stay imo!! Lake Union is really pretty, very "Seattle". The area's a mix-up of older commercial buildings, newer condo developments, residential neighborhood pockets, some retail, and restaurants and several hotels down on the lake. I priced it recently @ $229 plus tax. The shuttle couldn't take more than 10 mins. to get you downtown (a bit too far to walk but a quick drive distance-wise).
I live just a couple miles away on Capitol Hill, so think I'm speaking fairly, although obviously living here I haven't actually stayed at any of these hotels myself.
