One Day in moab,ut

We will have a day to explore Moab . Yes ,I know that it is not long enough but that is what I have.
Now what should we do with that day?

Is a rafting trip a good way to spend 1/2 the day and then what?
We are open to suggestions
Thanks
melissa

Just beware that while the rafting is a lot of fun, it's tiring and you might not feel like doing much after. You see everything from the 1/2 day rafting trip by driving Hwy 128 in a lot less than 1/2 the time.

If you do the white water trip, then go into Arches National Park and stop at the overlooks until sunset.

If you have really only one day in Moab
I think you've better to do than a raft.
You can go early to Dead Horse state park to see the sunrise, then 3 to 4
hours in Canyonlands(island in the sky district) with 1 or 2 short hikes(Whale
rock trail and/or Upveheal dome overlook trail)and then you should end the day in Arches(landscape arch or windows first and the sunset in delicate arch).
The websites of the parks will allow you to organize..
If in fact you've yet planed all of this and you have a whole day in Moab,so
a raft can be a good idea.Otherwise,
going to Moab and skip the parks to raft
seems to me a bad idea.

Thanks to everyone for the great advice to help plan our western adventure. We are not going onteh raft trip but instead seeing Arches, canyonlands and Dead Horse.
