Olive Oyl, know you guys are busy busy but just a heads up for your boat.
Can you get it off the docks and motor it into a mangrove and anchor off the back?
You can't really tie up for a hurricane. In South Carolina, you have to get your boat off the docks or they will cut the line.
It is the other boats and the docks that will do the damage to your boat. Is there any way you can at the very least anchor in open water?
There are towing companies that can take care of your boat. Also, see if you can find a used tire place and use them for bumpers.
Good luck and know we are thinking about you guys. I'm sure the hotel is sturdy as can be.

I'll be thinking of you, Olive. Glad that you are prepared, but I'm sure you are now exhuasted, too. Sometimes the prep and clean up are almost worse than the storm itself, huh? Keep us updated on how you fare.
Hope your son stays safe, too, help.
