Old Town Scottsdale

Can anyone give me an idea about this area? Staying at the Marriott Suites Old Town for business (in two weeks). Can I walk to restaurants, shopping, etc.? I will have car to get to meetings but would like to not have to drive in the evening.

do a search under "Old Town Scottsdale" as there have been numerous posts recently. I don't know where the Marriott is but Old Town is a pretty small area- easily walkable.

You can definitely walk to shops and restaurants from the Marriott Suites in Old Town Scottsdale. I have stayed in that area several times and it is quite walkable.

Enjoy!

Have you checked for reviews on tripadvisor.com? There are usually pretty up to date reviews on that website.

I stayed there once about 2 years ago. It's OK and it is close to the action in Old Town....my preference in that area would be to pick something with more of a desert setting like Camelback or the Marriott Mountainshadows....don't know what happened to Mountain Shadows ..it's not listed on the website anymore.
