I am a mosaic artist, I am getting ready to start a large project that will consist of vintage souvenir state plates. I have lots to work with, mostly intact. But one box is broken into pieces (which is what I will eventually do to all the plates.) I need to identify which state the broken pieces go with. Can anybody help me match these obscure places to the following states:
Montana, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Georgia, Maine, South Dakota, Kentucky, VA

OK, here are the "famous" places I cant identify with an above-listed state (and I was a Geography major in college!):

Natural Bridge is Virginia! yeah! I know one

Hungry Horse Dam is Montana.

Battle of Point Pleasant is West Virginia.

Ave Maria Grotto is Cullman, Alabama.

Natural Bridge could be either Kentucky or Virginia.

Casco Castle is Freeort, Maine.

Little Grand Canyon is Georgia.

Old Church Midway is Midway, Georgia.

Drake Well Memorial is in Titusville, PA.

My best guess is that The Big Stack is from the International House of Pancakes.

I just typed the name into ebay's search function and there were often plates or postcards.

Wayne Blockhouse is in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Amicalola Falls State Park is in Georgia.

Screw Auger Falls is in Maine.


Audobon Memorial Museum might be in Kentucky.

St. Mary Lake is in Glacier National Park in Montana.

The Big Stack is in Anaconda, Montana.
