Regarding a 2 night stop over in Ogden, I would say to you..that the juice is not worth the squeeze. I am sure that if the President of the local Chamber of Commerce were to opine on this question the list of things to do would be endless. However, there is really not much to do in Ogden. About the only thing that would be of interested is the Dinosaur Park @ the mouth of Ogden Canyon, and I am not sure that would run the fun meter off the chart. That said, the restored area known as Historic 25th St.(a.k.a. 2- bit street) has been renovated nicely to an extend over the last several years, and I suppose could be discribed as quaint. A few nice shops, antique stores and restaurants. The surrounding areas Ogden Valley is very scenic and is but a 20 minute drive up Ogden Canyon. If you can say where else you are going, or what you are interested in, I could then perhaps be a bit more helpful.

The CVB has invited me (and wife) to stop by on our way out to the Seattle/Vancouver area. We could make a stop for a couple nights on our flight from ATL at no extra cost. While they would pay for our rooms and meals,I would have no car. They do plan on showing us this dinosaur park, elk (?) island and a valley drive over a 3-4 hour time in one afternoon. Because of my flights it would cut us down to 4 (with last one close to SEATAC)days and 5 nights for the rest of our trip.
Although I appreciate the "freebies", this is actually my vacation time and I don't want to combine business with it unless it's a place well worth visiting.
