Hello - My husband & I would like to take a quick getaway to the beach this weekend, just for 1 night. We live in Charlotte, NC and are looking to go to SC and stay at an oceanfront hotel. Looking for recommendations on hotels along the coast...with the exception of Myrtle Beach. Can anyone offer some ideas?? Thanks!

Go to Pawley's Island and stay at the Litchfield Inn.

Litchfield Inn is a great suggestion.

Myrtle Beach hotels will mostly have minimum stay requirements and wouldn't do a one night weekend stay this time of year.

And the Inn is actually a nicer beach than any of those. The hotel itself is being renovated--or has been ranovated--but it has a pool and a happening bar!
