NYers help - will be visiting this weekend
I have train tickets to the city tonight. I love NY and try to get there a few times a year. What the weather like today and the next two (too short) days? Are there any street fairs going this weekend. I have gone to my regular sites and can't find any info. I read somewhere (I lost the site) that there is an art fair of some type in Lincoln center square this weekend. Is this correct and would it be worth going? I found a posting but read it too fast and now I can't remember where I saw it. We have time to kill before the Sat Yankee game and before a 3:00 Broadway Show - all suggestions appreciated and most welcome!

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend (once this storm clears out later today). 75 and sunny Saturday, partly cloudy and 85 Sunday (although that could be muggy).
The one thing you should watch out for is the Puerto Rican Day parade is Sunday. I say "watch out" only because the traffic will be snarled and the crowds will be extremely large if you want to go across town.

There is a street faire on 116 St between Park and 2nd Ave
Another on 3rd Avenue between 106 and 121 St
Avon is having a mini marathon starting in Columbus Circle on Saturday starting at 8AM
Street Fair Saturday on 1st Ave between 68 and 79 St
Street Fair Saturday on Christopher Street between 7 Av and Greenwich Street
Street Fair Sunday on 3rd Avenue between 23 and 34 St
And the Puerto Rican Day Parade Sunday on 5th Av between 44 and 96 St

There is a high end crafts fair at Lincoln center (outdoors) this weekend and next.
