Events in NYC
I'm going to be in NYC the weekend of November 4th, 5th and 6th visiting a friend. I've done all the touristy stuff, and things off the beaten path and know my way around well. What I'm looking for is anything going on that weekend, street fairs, parades, special presentations, things like that. I've looked around and there doesn't seem to be anything. This could be true, but does anyone know of anything I'm missing?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Get a current copy of New York Magazine, there is a listing there of things to do and see over the weekend, and it lists all the sample sales as well.
The Marathon is fun to see, you can cheer on the runners.
Have you done the Cloisters? Since it looks like a nice weekend the view of the Hudson, and the trees just starting to change would be nice scenery from there.
I'll check what street fairs are happening and post back.

Hit the NYC Marathon Expo at Javits Center. It is open to the public.
Watch the marathon.
Go to www.INGNYCMarathon.com for the best locations to watch. You'll have 2 million other spectators to keep you company.
