NYC pampering/SPA

I will be in NYC for a w/e at the end of the month. Before arriving in NYC I fly from Europe and then straight into a very hectic business trip of 4 west coast states/cities in 4 days.

Any suggestions on where to go for a turkish bath, massage, or other treatment which will help revive me so I cam enjoy the city?

Sally, Where are you staying? Mario Badescu is a great spa as is Bliss Spa downtown. Don't know anything about turkish baths, sorry.

Haven't been but this sounds good from NY Magazine

GRACEFUL SPA
205 W. 14th St., Second fl.
212-675-5145
When facials at some spas run toward $500 and massages are topping $200, it's a relief to find a new spot that's both pampering and reasonable. Graceful Spa, opened by 26-year-old Li Huang (whose mother, Grace Macnow, owns the more basic Graceful Services uptown), has heated massage tables, ceiling speakers in each room, elegant stone-tiled bathrooms, and a makeup room. In addition to Qigong massages that are as strong and therapeutic as you'll get anywhere, there are hot-stone massage, body scrubs, parafango wraps, and an array of facials. All massages and facials are a mere $80, while wraps and scrubs are $60. You can mix your treatments at a dollar a minute, so that $150 will buy you two and a half hours of well-priced bliss.

Hey McLaurie, spoke to a friend of mine that does lifestyle PR and she said that Graceful is not a place she recommends at all. Certainly nowhere near something like Bliss.
