Glad to hear about the Burger Joint. It is highly rated, so we thought we'd try it, but whenever we are in NYC it is only for a day or 2 at a time and I find better things to eat than a hamburger. But we've always wanted to try it, so maybe we'll just skip it.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Norma's. I have seen other posters report similarly. We have not really had attentive service as they are so bustling, but it was sufficient. I like the atmosphere because it seems so New York to me. It is pricey, even for New York.

How did you like "Tavern? We like it, esp. Crystal Room with early pre-fix. Kinda a fun place and good with kids. But often here on Fodors people do not like it.
