NYC - Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Hotels
Does anyone out there know which Starwood (St. Regis, Westin, W, Sheriton) hotels are right on the parade route. We have always wanted to take our kids to stay during that time. Tnank you, Babs

I know the Mayflower at Central Park is on the route and looks like a nice hotel, Go to Ask Joe or Hey Joe .com and they give you the hotels on the parade route and answer any questions about it. We went this past november and had a great time.

If you want to be in the heart of the parade, I would suggest the Holiday Inn. They actually have a balcony over the lobby area, and you can stand outside, above the parade. There are limited tickets available for the balcony, so ask if you can get them for your family. The year we were there, Snoopy got speared by a light pole, it was very windy, and the following year changes were made regarding height and wind conditions.
The Marriott is also on the parade route as well as the Embassy Suites and I think the W as well.
Hope this helps.

The parade can be seen from a limited number rooms in the following hotels - Mayflower on Central Park West, Best Western Woodward, The Amertania, Novetel, Double Tree, Crowne Plaza and Marriott Marquis all located on Broadway. Yoyu can observe the inflating of the balloons from the Excelsior located on W. 81st ST.
