I've had lunch at The Long Room a couple times and it was very good. It's a varied menu place and easy to just do an appetizer or a sandwich or a full meal. This place used to be St. Andrews, but St. Andrews moved and their old place became The Long Room. But speaking of that, St. Andrews which is now at 140 West 46th is very similar and also very good. They have a couple of smaller areas (not really separate rooms) upstairs there, and I'm only guessing that at that hour, the group could use one of those and have a little more "privacy".

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it today because I left work early to accompany my husband for a dr's appt. I will go Tuesday and I can make a reservation, but honestly, I don't think it's any problem at 4:30.
How many are we?
How about an rsvp?

The rooftop bar looks really nice, but opens at 5. I always like to be close to the theater.....just in case. Another choice is Ca Va on 8th and 44th. The restaurant is pricey, but there is a lounge for drinks, etc. you can take a look online.
Deb - you decide. Anywhere is fine for me, but I really think with tix, you should stay nearby.

OK - I will make the executive decision - let's keep it at the original location - Dafni Greek Taverna - 325 West 42nd Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, 4:30 pm on Thursday 7/11/13.
