Help! Searching for fresh fish sandwich/ lunch restaurant in or near Lakeland, Fl
. Here in Auburnville for a Memorial Day baseball tournament.

Do you mean Auburndale? I think you probably do. Problem is, Lakeland is a bit of a food wasteland. Harry's, in downtown Lakeland, is a small chain that's pretty good; I wouldn't swear you'd be getting fresh fish, though.

NewbE, oops, I did mean Auburndale. We ate at Harry's for dinner last night and had jumbalaya....really good! We go to the one in St. Augustine when we get up that way.
Today we ended up finding the Main Street Diner in Auburndale: family run restaurant....good food...friendly people.....
Clarkgriswold, Mr Fish sounds really good....maybe for tomorrow.....

Mr. Fish is carry-out only, though, right, clarkgriswold? Have you eaten there? We've driven past it; I don't mind a dive at all, just want to be sure it's worth the atmospherics!
