Most mega-clubs in NYC are between $25-$35 to get in. Pacha is kind of a bridge and tunnel scene (kids from outer boroughs or NJ in town for the night), which can be really obnoxious. You won't have an issue getting in, but you'll probably have to wait in line a bit if you come during prime hours (after midnight).
Unless I was coming with a big group and wanted to dance and not talk, it probably wouldn't be my choice. It will also be a really young crowd (19-24). Yes, I know the drinking age is 21

Well I am looking for a fun dance club for me and my husband, ages 22 and 24. I have looked on Shecky's but it is hard to tell since there are so many listed. Also, what is the best time to go?

"Best" is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. If you are interested in not waiting in too long of a line, then you should arrive by 11. The club will be quieter, on the other hand. Most people show up later, after 12, so you'll be among the early crowd.
Also, keep in mind, that most clubs in New York you won't let you sit at any of the tables and have a cocktail waitress unless you make a reservation. Typically, a reservation means that you are willing to purchase a bottle of alcohol ($300-400 for 1 bottle of Absolut, up from there). Along with the bottle, they'll give you cups, ice, mixers, etc. That's why it's usually more fun to go with a group so you can split the cost of the bottle service.

Am long past the age for these clubs but my stepdaughter and a girlfriend tried it one night - and said that it was definitely bridge and tunnel - not trendy at all, anyone can get in - but you probably wouldn;t want to.
They stayed less than an hour and moved on to find someplace better (they're collecting celebrities - have a list most of whom I don;t know - and keep hoping to dance with someone famous).
