NYC Airport & Hotel help
Hi there -
My family will be traveling to Aruba in November. We live in Boston but our flights are out of New York.
We will drive to NY and fly out of JFK. Our flight from Aruba returns to LGA.
We would like to park our car at LGA so it will be easy for us when we come home.
Our flight out of JFK is at 7am so we would like to stay at a hotel near JFK.
Can you recommend a hotel near or at JFK ? We need to be at the airport at 5am so need something with an early shuttle.
Where is the best place to park our car at or near LGA?
THANK YOU in advance for your help.

LGA? Are you sure?
There are no direct flights from AUA to LGA. Aruba is beyond the 1500mi limit allowed for LGA flights. Maybe you're connecting somewhere in the US on return. If that's the case, you might be better off changing that return to go into JFK, or to BOS.
LGA to JFK at 4:30am isn't very far (max 15min ride), so your best option may be to find a hotel near LGA that has a stay & park option. 5am is likely too early for a shuttle, even at JFK, so relying on a taxi or uber would be your best bet. I don't know any specific hotels to recommend.

J62 Thanks so much for the help. Indeed, we have a nonstop flight on American Airlines from Aruba to LGA! I did a quick double check to be sure though
I appreciate the advice to just stay at a hotel near LGA - you're right at that time of the morning, shouldn't be too much traffic! Thank you!!
The flights out of Boston are completely outrageous for the time we want to go. Most of them stop in ny anyway so for a family a five it made more sense to just drive to NY!

I haven't stayed there and have no idea of the cost, but the retro TWA hotel at JFK seems to have a lot of activities that might suit a family.
