NYC Accommodation Confirmed

Just wanted to make a new post to say thanks to everyone for your help with our accommodation search and to let others know what we found after many hours of searching all sorts of options. The advice given here was very valuable and after much deliberation and a couple of false starts we chose Stay Bridge Suites in Times Square, www.staytimessquare.com might as well give ourselves a baptism of fire and get right in the thick of it. We know it will be very busy and very cold but for us that will all be part of the experience.

Thanks for your help.

Yay! Great choice! I LOVED the new Staybridge Suites I stayed in Savannah (it's my favorite new hotel there) and joined the NYC SS as a FB friend before they opened. You'll love the kitchenette, the free food and a new hotel can't be beat. On cold winter days, staying near Times Square is a very good thing - IMO anyway

Can't wait to read the trip report!

Thanks Starrs, I do hope to write a trip report. We have certainly booked some great shows so far and just looking forward to my first trip to the USA with time to explore NYC. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the 24 hours of flying in cattle class to get there. We arrive on the evening of the 26th November so just miss Thanksgiving. Hope there are still sales on, no trip to NYC could be complete without some shopping .

Make sure you can leave your teeth in the hotel safe.

Just found out and thought others might like to know, if we pay 14 days before arrival we get a 12% discount. That will save a few hundred dollars.
