Will be going to NYC for the first time this Fall. Staying at Holiday Inn on Tonnelle in New Jersey. Modes anyone know what the best route is to get it NYC using public transit?

Apwe will be in NYC for 4 days and I have the following on my do do list.

WTC,
9/11 memorial/museum
Wall Street
Flatiron bldg
Century 21
Macy's
Sak's
Central Park
Brooklyn Bridge - going to walk across
GrNd central Terminal
Times Square
Better Park
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Trump Plaza
Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock
Financial district
Met museum
Staten Island Ferry - to get views of Manhatten
Yankees game - bought tickets

I was planning to do downtown Manhattan one morning the. Upper Manhattan in the afternoon. Is this possible?

Any schedules or suggestions on how to best fit in all these things would be much appreciated.

The place you are staying in NJ is still a really bad idea.

Not sure what you mean about doing downtown in the am and uptown in the pm. The items you have listed will take 3 or 4 days - not one.
