Nutcracker Ballet Tix

travelling from Melbourne, AUS to NYC for 3 weeks from Dec 14th and have booked many tix already for shows, however my wife has a question re NYC Nutcracker Ballet. Where is the best seating to view the show - First Ring or Orchestra? She noticed that the first ring is selling faster than the orchestra and wondered whether these seats were superior?

I never sit in orchestra for ballet. The first ring or grand tier is really better for ballet.

I agree with Sharon. First Ring will give you a better angle to see the dancers. I haven't seen the Nutcracker since I was a little girl, but have wonderful memories. Enjoy it.

The first ring is indeed prime seating for the ballet. It also sells out faster than the orchestra because there are far fewer seats there!
