Directions to Manoa Falls from Waikiki:
Take McCully St. to Wilder (just past H-1), make a left on Wilder.
Stay on Wilder about 5-6 blocks to Punahou St. Make a right on Punahou St.
Continue on Punahou. It will become Manoa Rd in a few blocks. Take Manoa Rd to Manoa Falls (about 1 - 1 1/2 miles).
Park at Treetops Restaurant ($5). There was a small area to park right at the trailhead, but it was recently shut down.
Lyon Arboetum is also near the Manoa Falls trailhead. It is a decent botanical garden. It also has a waterfall, but I have not been to that one. Parking is free and is about as close to Manoa Falls trailhead as is Treetops. No admission to Lyon Arboretum any more. But, they do accept donations ($5-$8).
