Consider San Diego. Great weather, reasonable priced lodging in many parts of the region, beaches, good food!

Also consider Disney World, Hawaii, South Florida. For a little less warm but still not snowy and wintery, consider Carmel or San Francisco.

Florida Keys would be nice then, but not so great on the budget. FL Gulf Coast has some nice places as well.

Are you a family? Couple? Single?

The Marriott Harbor Beach Resort or the Lago Mar are both wonderful "on the beach" resorts in Fort Lauderdale. The former is more contemporary and the latter is old classic 1950's Florida.

If by "inclusive" you mean a resort that includes all meals, here's a website I found with a few listings in Florida.
http://www.resortsandlodges.com/reso...ida/index.html Check wunderground.com trip planner for historic temps for the dates you're considering. None of these are as far south as you could go. Not sure why you're ruling out outside the US. If you've got a free air ticket, you could fly to Miami and take a cruise out of that port. There are amazing cruise deals now as that industry suffers from the recession. Go to cruisecritic.com for more info.
