My wife and I honeymooned in Cape Cod in early June and loved it. We are heading back for a long weekend in November and we're wondering what the difference is going to be from June to November. Anyone have any thoughts.

June and November can both be 50 degrees and raining. However, June can also be 75-80 degrees and sunny, whereas November rarely is....

The leaves will have fallen. And depending where on the Cape you are going, some businesses will be closed.

HI--altho my answer to you above was clearly tongue-in-cheek, the fact is that weather can range from quite pleasant to miserably raw, so you have to prepare accordingly--lots of protection from (potentially) biting winds. It is true that many places close off season, so if you provide a little more info about where on the Cape you will be, there will be people who can provide you w/names of places that are open at that time of year. I hope the place where you are staying has a fireplace in the lobby or in your room, b/c that is a great time of year to enjoy it.

If you don't mind cold weather, you might still enjoy the cape. If you can get a hotel with a nice fireplace in your room, that might be nice and cozy. I agree with others, a lot of businesses might not be opened.

I don't know where you stayed on Cape or what your likes and dislikes would be, but repost with that information and you will probably receive more help. There is a big difference between staying in Hyannis and say Provincetown.
