North Shore wedding question

Can anyone offer an opinion as to the best North Shore beach to have a small, intimate wedding on if we want to get some sunset photographs? Thanks.

Well Patch did use Hawaii as the search topic so we'll assume he/she means the north shore of one of the islands in HI. Question is, which one?

Waimea Bay is a nice location, remember sun sets in the west, so if you are looking for the ideal "Sunset" spot for a small romantice wedding you may want to go around the Diamond Head area as the sun will set on that side of the island nicely. IMO.

Not sure if you need special permission, but Ko Olina (I guess that's west, not north) is fantastic for a sunset backdrop.

Do you have to be on the North shore itself? Is that where you are staying?

Yes, I'll be at Turtle Bay and assumed travelling across the island would be too much of a hassle. Looking for something more within easy "striking distance" from the resort. Thanks for everyone's input.

Oh! In that case, why not just get married on the resort grounds?

I agree. Get married on the grounds of Turtle Bay Resort. You will have a nice sunset from there.

Waimea Bay & Sunset Beach are also good.

Lots of Oahu info:
