I loved exploring different neighborhoods in New Orleans. Sure they have some bad areas but the city just oozes charm. Maybe not for everyone, granted, but I don't think it qualifies as among the worst US cities by a longshot. (There are quite a few I could think that would qualify, but it's rude to start such flaming wars!)
