Budman means Ginger dresses are ok for girls...

Hula skirts may be gender neutral, but that dress not so much.

otto, if you can get to the NY Waterway ferry at 38th street, we can get you a ride from the ferry on the Weehawken side to the GTG (about a 5 minute drive from the ferry). Several other Fodorites will be doing the same thing.

B'man,
Looks like we'll be in different places together that day...I'll be in SF partying with Mr and Mrs Beachbum.

But we'll be there "in spirits"!

trish, I think I'll be able to make the GTG, especially with memories of Paula's fine meal and all my nice pen pals. I'll email you my proper R.s.v.p.

For the last GTG I provided party favors--custom Fodorites magnets with the worst thread titles ever. (A thread title on the Europe board just reminded me: "help with travel") Anyway, do we need more magnets? Any special feature? What are your "worst titles'? I'm also thinking about a shipwrecked design.

See you all in a few weeks.

I think we're going to have some Fodor representation at this one -- no pins, but maybe Fodor Guides of Tuscany?

I certainly hope so!

This GTG will be fun, and the food will be outstanding.

There are lots of NY/NJ Fodorites out there -- please come, you'll have a great time. We're a tame group, before the wine.

Budman! Trish!
Devan and I want to come but we need rides. Could one of you pick her up in Cambridge and me in KY?

Budman - Why were there so many wine bottles at our end of the table? Oh yeah, that's because we were trying to drink them all!

Trish - I want to see lots of pics of Budman in his Ginger dress.

Since we can't come this time, can we pick the May date? I vote for May 27th.

Ky, we're going to miss you. The Fodors corporate jet is booked for that day.

What wine bottles? Oh, those wine bottles! Some sort of science project Devan was working on? What are they teaching these kids at MIT?

There will be no Ginger for me. The grass skirt was pushing it.

Looks like Germany on the 27th. Will the 20th work for you?

Cheers!

I'm voting for the Ginger dress over the Maryann short shorts & gingham shirt for you Budman!

KY we'll miss you & Devon! Let's get a date for May soon. We're looking at a couple weeks in STJ in May too.

Who else is coming on the 22nd? E-mail me [email protected]

I'm not sure who's coming -- Trish has the list, but Ginger or no Ginger, I'll be there, and I'm bringing some "whine."

BTW, you don't have to come as a Gilligan character -- use your imagination based on the theme.

And then again, you can come as yourself. Don't let dressing up/down be a show stopper for not attending. There are lots of NY/NJ people on this board -- you should come -- it's really a fun time.

I agree, don't let a theme stop you from attending!

My husband will come with his glasses on his face, a button down shirt, and spiffy shoes - he will be my "professor", hardy, har,har

I'm still thinking on how I will show up - maybe an eye patch and a pirate's hat??? Hmmm, an evil Fodor pirate....

Looking forward to Budman's brew

Don't be shy, people

We couldn't make it last year, but Mr. xyz and I will try harder this year.
Trish, I'll email you. See you all there.
