Night train from Va. to Atlanta

Have reservations from Charlottesville Va. to Atlanta on Amtrak in coach car in April. Is one able to sleep in coach or is it too noisy and busy? Hoping it's similar to a plane where I'm able to sleep.

If you can sleep on a plane, you'll be able to sleep on a train.

I wouldn't take an Ambien on a train. Tylenol PM or similar, maybe but not Ambien. That's one place you don't want to go sleepwalking
It stops all the damn time. A completely different experience than sleeping on a plane. I can sleep anywhere, but that route is a killer on sleep. It's not noisy or busy - just stop and start all night long.
