Nice beachfront condos in Kaanipali or Wailea?
We are visiting Hawaii In June 2005 for the third time, but it's been several years since we were last there. Will be spending some time in Wailea and Kaanipali while on Maui. Does anyone know of any nice condos in those areas? Any experiences with the Kaanipali Alii?

The Ali`i is generally regarded as the best condo complex in the west. In the south you may wish to investigate the Makena Surf (just south of Wailea), on a first rate snorkeling beach, Po`olenalena. Both offer resort amenities. In Wailea proper try the Palms, Ekahi, Eulua, Grand Champions and Ekolu complexes. Not all are beachfront, but all are nice or better. Some much better.
