I read this and thought the question probably is useful to those who aren't such newbies as well. Many people do wonder!
That led to . . .
What would you call a "not so newbie"? An "old-bie". No, that would be an "oldie" I guess.
Then . . .
If it's "oldie", why "newbie" with a b?

Well, I guess "newdie" doesn't really sound quite right!
