New York's Gotham Hall - Hotel Needed

Hi,
I will be in NY for a wedding at the end of February. The wedding is going to be at Gotham Hall. Can anyone suggest hotels in this area? I have a budget of $150 and under.

Thanks!

That's a pretty tight budget, even at that time of year. Many of us know quite a bit about budget hotels, but don't know where Gotham Hall is -- could you please tell us?

Gotham Hall appears to be on Broadway near Penn Station - although I can't imagine where. Not a great area for hotels. With that budget I would go for Priceline. Check out what areas of the city are getting the best deals and stay there.

A litle bit of transport to the wedding is better than staying at an unpleasant hotel.

Gotham Hall is at Broadway & 36th st. There are actually plenty of budget hotels in this area, but not the nicest area aesthetically. You could probably find someplace at your budget, the question is, would you be happy staying there? The Red Roof Inn and the Stanford are well regarded budget options there. There's a new Residence Inn nearby with great reviews. The Affinia Manhattan and the Metro get good reviews.

Any of the hotels in the Times Square area would be close enough to walk. The Four Points Chelsea would also work.

I do agree trying Priceline could be a good idea.
