So pleased to hear about the seats. I'm sure we'll love the show. I am sorry to miss both Hoon Lee and Ken Watanabe.

You've gotten excellent advice on most of your original questions. As far as TOTR vs ESB, my vote is TOTR by far. I second Sara Beth's for breakfast.

Sadly, while I used to recommend TOTR over ESB, I can't recommend either now. Both are touristy messes and grossly overpriced for what you get. If you absolutely MUST do a too-expensive-by-far observatory, then go to the World Trade Center.

Better in my opinion is simply find a few you can see for free. For example, you could do the weekend brunch at 230 Fifth Avenue (it's $29, which is expensive, but then you're paying over $30 just for the view at the ESB or TOTR without any food), and you get the view for free at 230 Fifth, making it the best deal for my money in NYC. It's also a bar, but that's not so great for a 16-year-old.

Jv827- My kids are so excited. Daniel Dae Kim was in Insurgent, so he will have 2 built in fans, both my son and daughter. I hope he does the role justice.

Doug_Stallings- A shame my kids don't drink yet. We haven't started them on the European plan.

Cjar, that's great your kids are excited about DDK! Funny how things work out sometimes. I was mainly thinking about Lost, and completely forgot about the Divergent series connection. While this is his Broadway debut, I know he played the King in a London production or concert, so he does bring some experience to the role!
