Is there that much difference in the price??? We are talking about the triple one!! And of course something normal, clean about 3* stars? Guys, why is that so expensive!! London is expensive also, but even in London, we can find nice, central hotels around 100-150 euros per night. And most of the times, if there is no exhibition in London (not that soon), you could book around 60-90 per night.
And Breakfast IS included. It is not only RR!!
And one more question. Why breakfast is not included in US??

Yes, prices in both DC and NYC are significantly higher during May because that is high season, as opposed to February, which is (for good reason) the depth of low season. These are among the most expensive cities for hotels, and that's not a surprise. DC tends to be cheaper on weekends, while there is much less differential in NYC.
Breakfast isn't included in the US in many hotels because that's not our tradition. But many mid-range hotels (Hampton Inn, and many other chains) do include breakfast. At other hotels, you can usually books special rates that include a breakfast voucher at the hotel restaurant, but it's usually expensive at a big chain hotel.
