Just found your report and so enjoyed your enthusiasm and delight with NY. So glad your injuries weren't worse. Our streets, sidewalks and roads are in terrible shape. It's like navigating a constant obstacle course!

mcheryl: Sometimes it's the 'unfortunate' experiences that make the best holiday stories! Another positive outcome: I have new spectacles!
Centralparkgirl: Yes, both my husband & I became much more watchful as we walked the streets & sidewalks of NYC! He would occasionally announce, "Curb!" Not necessary but better safe than sorry!
